3. Floor mops. Yes, the modern mop was invented in Spain, not that long ago really. In 1964. It was invented by aeronautical engineer Manuel Corominas.
4. Doggie lover? Well, don't try and walk more than eight at one time if you're in Madrid.
5. Kids in Spain don't have a tooth fairy, they have a mouse instead. He's called Ratoncito Perez.
6. While Spanish is the main language, Spain has another four -Catalan, Basque, Galcian, Aranese.
7. La Palma has the world's biggest telescope. It is 10.4 metres high and took seven years to build.
8. Tenerife's flag is EXACTLY the same as Scotland's flag.
