REVIEW: 25HOURS HOTEL VIENNA
This centrally located hotel in Vienna is different from your average, run-of-the-mill, 'seen one, seen them all' hotels. This sheer explosion of colour, with fanciful circus-themed rooms, funky rooftop terrace and neon sign on the outside wall telling the world, 'WE ARE ALL MAD HERE', is like no other I've stayed in. Some rooms have bathtubs on the balcony, others come with kitchenettes and Nespresso machines; there is even a food truck parked in the garden which sells burgers.

Staff are young and friendly. Reception has plenty of areas for lounging or enjoying coffee, lots of squishy cushions on chairs and settees, a see-saw table covered in magazines, workstations with free internet and a kiosk open for 25 hours (of course.) Mermaid's Cave in the basement is where to find the sauna and some fitness equipment which guests can use free. Cycles are also free to hire.
And food? The 1500 Foodmakers restaurant beside reception offers pizzas, pasta, salad and sinfully delicious dolci. They do a moreish breakfast too. So next time you are in Vienna, do pop in, this hotel is a breath of fresh air!
