Jade Dragon receives three-star accolade and Alain Ducasse at Morpheus secures two stars in the Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2019
Jade Dragon, under the leadership of Executive Chef Kelvin Au Yeung, received a coveted third Michelin star for the first time this year joining Macao's Robuchon au Dôme and The Eight as one of the world's most highly-ranked restaurants. Newly-minted Alain Ducasse at Morpheus achieved two-star recognition for its menu of original creations paired with some of Ducasse's most famous contemporary French dishes. The restaurant is now ranked as one of five two Michelin star restaurants in Macao alongside Feng Wei Ju, Golden Flower, Mizumi and The Tasting Room. A further eleven restaurants in Macao have maintained one Michelin star status for 2019.
The new Michelin Guide also showcases how Macao continues to excel for those travelling on a budget. Nine of Macao's restaurants were included in the Bib Gourmand selection for 2019 which highlights restaurants offering three courses for no more than 400MOP (approx. £40).
